The Lord will Keep you Going (Scripture Saturdays)

Today I am starting another blog series on my blog. You probably already guessed, but it’s called Scripture Saturdays. Every Scripture Saturday will have a theme. Today’s theme is, “The Lord keeps you going.”

If you are anything like me, you love finding new, inspirational Bible verses. That is what this blog series is all about. I thought I would share some of my all time and new favorite Bible verses with you. After you finish reading this, comment below with your favorites.  I would love to hear them! I also want to clarify before we begin: I will not be writing out every verse because I want to encourage you to look some of them up and read them for yourselves.

1. My all time favorite verse that goes with this theme is Isaiah 40:28-31. This is a verse I found a couple of years ago and it instantly meant so much to me.

2. Psalm 18:28 says, “You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” This is a great verse to keep in mind because it reminds us that God is always there to help us and keep us going.

3. Psalm 4:8 is a great one if you find it hard to fall asleep at night, because of certain fears or anxiety. We all need rest and sleep; God gave us a great way to recharge through sleep.

4. “For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.” Psalm 48:14. As you can tell, I love the Psalms! This is another great verse to remind us that our God is with us and He will guide us when we are lost.

I hope you have enjoyed this first Scripture Saturday. I am excited to write more of these in the future. One thing I hope you take away from this is that God will always be waiting there to help you and keep you going. You just have to simply ask Him and He will hear you (Psalm 55:22).
