Back from what, you ask?
Back from a four week “vacation.” I have so much to share with you, and yet I can’t quite put it all into words. Though I am sure, with time, you will hear about all the things God has been teaching me in the last few weeks.
In short, this is the journey Jesus has been taking me on:
- I was diagnosed with COVID (John 9:3).
- I experienced a miracle (Genesis 50:20).
- I performed in a show (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Yep, as I am sure you can see, there is a lot to unpack. However, for today, please know this (and this is truth, so it never changes):
God is a God of the living (Matthew 22:32)! He is not far off watching our lives unfold without any interest (Psalm 139). He is not a God who created us, and then dropped us on the earth to see how we would do.
He is a God who is alive and active in our lives! He is indeed working for our good even when we do not see it (Jeremiah 29:11)! He is with us for all the “highs and lows” (Hebrews 13:5b); He sees us in our moments of distress and in our moments of joy (1 Corinthians 13:6-7).
You are not forgotten by God for a single moment, my friend, and you never will be (Psalm 121).
