The ABCs of God

Today I want to write something a little different than what I usually write. All I want to do today is, for every letter of the alphabet, give an attribute of God. I hope this blog can be a reminder of who God is.

1. Awesome (Psalm 47:2)

2. Brilliant (Ezekiel 1:27-28)

3. Creative (Psalm 148: 5-6)

4. Dedicated – If we trust Him, He is dedicated with helping us get to our goal.

5. Empathetic (Hebrews 4:15)

6. Faithful (2 Timothy 2:11-13)

7. Good (Psalm 13:6)

8. God of Hope

9. Indescribable – there are and never will be enough words to describe the God we serve!

10. Just (Psalm 11:7)

11. Kind (Psalm 138:6)

12. Loving – This one you have heard me say and write about a lot, but it is so true! I hope you believe and know that today.

13. Memory – This one might be little different, but have you have ever thought about how great God’s memory must be?!

14. Nourishing (Romans 11:17-18)

15. Omnipotent – This means that God is all-powerful.

16. Praise-worthy (2 Samuel 22:4)

17. Quiet – This I have found to be true almost 100% of the time. I have personally have found that God doesn’t just come out and say, “Here I am!” No, He comes quietly, and we get to choose if we are going to listen.

18. Righteous

19. Savior (Titus 3:3-5)

20. Trustworthy (Psalm 19:7)

21. Understanding (Job 12:13)

22. Valiant

23. Wise (1 Corinthians 1:25)

24. Yearns for a relationship with us

25. Zealous – I know you are surprised I could come up with something!

Well, those are all the words I could think of for all the letters of the alphabet! If you have any different ideas, I would love to read them in the comments below. I hope this has been a fun and simple reminder of who our God is (Isaiah 40:28-31)!
