“Death has been Swallowed up in Victory.”

tombI wish I could write all that this day means to me as a Christian. I wish I could write on and on about how amazing it is that Jesus didn’t stay dead, but arose (Mark 16:6). There could never be enough time in all this world to be able to express all the joy and peace that comes with Jesus rising from the grave.

I can write this, however, that I am no longer bound to sin because Jesus arose. I no longer have to taste death forever because of Him. I have been bought and set free because of what Jesus did by dying and rising from the grave (1 Peter 2:24).

I am no longer bound in chains of fear and anger. I no longer am bound to the chains of my sin (Romans 6:11-14). I have been set free! Praise Jesus in the highest, that He died and rose again for me (Romans 8:1-8).

He didn’t just do this for me, though (Romans 6:10). He broke the chains of sin and darkness for you too. All you have to do is believe in Him and become His child (See Read this Before you get Baptized part 1 and 2) (Romans 16:18).
