You are a Daughter of the King!

Yes, you read the title correctly. You are a princess! You are royalty (1 Peter 2:9)! You are wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14).

Let me back up a bit…

This year for my birthday, I wanted the theme for my party to be Daughter of the King. Why? He is the one that gave me a birthday! He gave me life and He gave me my family and friends to take care of me.  I wanted my party to glorify Him and praise Him for my life (Job 33:4).

At the end of February, I started coming up with party activity ideas. I came up with the idea to have each girl, at the party, look up different verses of what it means to be a Daughter of the King.  Sisters in Christ, I can’t begin to explain all the verses I found! My “research” amazed me! I can’t tell you all the verses I kept finding about who we are in Christ and everything God promises He will do for us (Ephesians 3:20-21). Here are some of the verses I found:

Proverbs 31:10-31

Jeremiah 1:4-10

1 Timothy 3:11

2 Peter 3:9

Zachariah 9:9

Psalm 74:12-17

The list could go on and on! I encourage you this week to get into the scriptures and discover who your King is and what He says about you (Hebrew 2:10-11)!
