Welcome back to another M.M!! I am excited to be telling of more miracles God has done in the lives of both my grandpas. They are both a blessing in my life and I can’t imagine my life without them (Romans 8:28).

We always ask these three questions on every M.M.:

1. Have you always believed in miracles? If not, what changed that?

2. Do you have a story you can share when you knew God caused a miracle in your life?

3. How did this miracle change your life?

The first person we will hear from is my Grandpa Ed. My grandpa lives in Utah with my grandma and other family members. Here is his story (Isaiah 40:29):

Q. Have you always believed in miracles? If not, how did that change?

A. “I think I have always believed in miracles because others told me. I’d never witnessed one myself until I was 18 years old.”

Q. Do you have a story you can share when you knew God caused a miracle in your life?

A. “I have liked your grandmother since we were 10 years old. Even in high school we dated a little, but as she said, ‘I wasn’t marriage material.’

I’ve always been pretty independent and as long as I had one person behind me, I didn’t need others in my life.

When I was 18, my father passed away suddenly. Dad had been that one important person in my life who gave me strength to be independent. When he died, my whole world started to fall apart. Through the grace of God and in what I consider a miracle, the woman who thought I wasn’t “marriage material” stepped into my life and became that strong support I needed and still need.”

Q. How did this miracle change your life?

A. “The effect on my life has been monumental. Without God’s intervention, my life’s partner wouldn’t be with me now, and none of my immediate family would exist. In addition, her strong support allowed me to get two college degrees after we were married and allowed me to study and pass the CPA exam. Also, her support is the reason we moved to Montana, which allowed us to move to Utah. God has truly been good and gracious in my life.”

I love that story! God is truly good and will bring certain people into our lives for a reason!

The next person is my Grandpa Rasor. He lives in Indiana with his wife and other family. He was also born and raised there as well. Here is his story (Isaiah 25:1):

Q. Was there ever a time in your life when you didn’t believe in miracles? If so, how did that change?

A. “Yes, I thought all things could be explained through science. This changed when something happened in my life that science could not explain.”

Q. Do you have a story you can share when you knew God caused a miracle in you life?

A. “Yes, many years ago I lived forty miles away from another person. This was in area of more than a million people. I had a chance meeting of only a few minutes with that person. This chance meeting resulted in a great friendship that continues today. Science does not explain this one-in-a-million happening in my life. Looking back several years later, I realized the many little details that were needed to allow for the meeting to occur. It appeared to be more than by accident; not my planning but His.”

Q. How did this miracle change your life?

A.”This is how a wonderful Christian woman entered into my life. We were married a couple of years later.”

I love this too! Like my grandpa says above, it was one in a million chance! Yet, God had the bigger picture in mind.

Thank you to my grandpas for answering these questions!

To my readers, I hope this M.M can help all those who are single. Being single myself, it is sometimes hard to imagine that God will bring the right person into your life at just the right time. As we see from these stories, He always proves Himself faithful and we can rely on His goodness (Psalm 26:3)!

I was just thinkling a few days ago that grandpa’s and my story needed to be shared. I was going to need him to write it down and he did. I didn’t know he did it until I read your article. That is how we are a lot of the time;we know what the other one is thinking or going to say.
