We have all tried but failed. We have all tried to carry on in our own strength. Then without noticing we start to fail.
We start slipping and we believe we are failures. In reality, the only thing we failed at was asking God for His strength (Isaiah 40:28-30).
More times than I like to admit, I have fallen into this trap. Again and again I believe I can do it on my own. I think I can make it through this life without help. The truth is, I can’t! I can’t make it through this life without God’s strength! None of us can (Psalm 18:32)!
Praise the Lord He promises to give us strength (Psalm 28:7)! Praise the Lord that He uses our weakness to showcase His power (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)!
I want to give you one major tip on how to rely on God’s strength and not your own. Here it is:
Surrender
Surrender! Give your day, week, and life to God. Let Him lead you and help you within your days (Psalm 60:11-12). Ask Him for His strength and He will supply (Psalm 29:10)!
So I ask you, are you leaning upon God’s strength or your own (Ephesians 6:10)?

P.S. Please take some time to look up at least some of the Bible verses above! They are encouraging and comforting.
