Today, I sit here wondering about the girl Jesus brought back to life just by taking her hand. We have no record of her name or any ideas on what she went on to do with her life (Mark 5:35-43).
I wonder if that moment when she opened her eyes was a treasured moment she never forgot. I wonder if Jesus was smiling down at her when she awoke. I wonder if she knew what had happened or if someone had to tell her. I wonder if she ever imagined a person like me in the future wondering about her.
I do know, however, once Jesus touches your life, you are never the same. I know Jesus knew her before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-5); perhaps He even created her for the purpose of Him bringing her back to life (Jeremiah 29:11). Perhaps He brought her back to life so that His name might be magnified (Psalm 115:1).
The same reasons stated above are true for you too! Jesus has known you before you were born. He created you for a purpose and there is nothing anyone can do to take that purpose and value away from you (Psalm 139).

P.S. I wrote the first part of this blog awhile ago in one of my journals. God allowed me to find it so that you may be reading it today. The Lord is faithful; never doubt that.
Amen!
